This is a stand of Sequoia trees called the Parker Group located in Sequoia National
Park; and yes they really are that big. You can only see about a third of their height
in this picture as they are all between 70 - 80 meters tall (that's 230 - 260 feet for
you Americans), and probably at least 2,000 years old. My mom is standing in front
of them.
